Does my provider accept insurance?
Yes. Jonathan is in-network with the current insurance plans: United Healthcare, Cigna, Oscar Health, and Aetna.
What are the services offered?
The provider will offer a psychiatric diagnostic evaluation. This may include additional steps in order to rule in/rule out other common conditions that may appear as a psychiatric condition. This would require a physical exam/labs. The provider will offer a referral to therapy should that be a recommendation for your individualized treatment plan.
What is the cost if I don’t have insurance?
$250.00 for 60-minute evaluation
$150.00 for 30-minute follow up session
**Additional fees such as paperwork completion or collaborating with pharmacies for prior authorization for prescriptions may apply based on time.
How often will i be expected to be seen?
The provider will discuss your individualized treatment plan with you at the time of your initial appointment. The frequency of appointments are on a case-by-case basis and would depend on the mental health history.
Are phone consultations offered?
Yes. Your provider will be happy to speak with you prior to scheduling an appointment for a 10-15 minute consult. This can ensure that you are not only comfortable joining the practice, but also to ensure that the needs that you are seeking can be met/are suitable at A Brighter Day Telepsychiatry. Some clients would be more suitable with practices that offer an in-person appointment.
How does a virtual session work?
Virtual appointments can be held on your computer, tablet, or smartphone. A good wi-fi connection is needed for a successful visit.
